How do I request to sit with my friends?
For all ticket and sponsorship purchases, you will be able to specify tablemates and/or groups to sit with and we will do our best to accommodate your requests. We can guarantee table seating requests only when 10 tickets are purchased together. Please have the names of your guests, including their mobile phone numbers and their meal preferences, ready when ordering your tickets.
Can I reserve an entire table?
You may purchase complete tables of 10 by purchasing 10 tickets on the reservation page at the same time - We can guarantee table seating requests only when 10 tickets are purchased together.
Can I buy tickets now without naming all the ticket holders?
We prefer that you please have the names of your guests, including their mobile phone numbers and their meal preferences, ready when ordering your tickets. If you must purchase tickets prior to having this information or you want a flexible ticket to assign at check-in, please contact us at email@example.com for help.
What does being a sponsor add to being a VIP ticket holder?
Sponsorships are very important to the success of the Gala. By becoming a sponsor you helping to underwrite the cost of producing this event. When the cost of the Gala is fully funded that means that every dollar raised on the night of the event goes directly to student scholarships, teacher fellowships and to the school’s most urgent needs.
Sponsors will be invited to a special ‘Thank You’ reception in the spring, receive recognition on the Gala media materials, receive a fresh ‘Welcome Lei’ and more.

I have already bought my ticket, how can I upgrade to VIP ticket?
If you purchased a regular ticket or had a basic ticket purchased for you, you may upgrade your ticket to a VIP ticket by CLICKING HERE. The most common reason, besides the parking and lounge access and other benefits, for people to upgrade their tickets is to move to a seating assignment with others on a VIP table. We recommend that you contact firstname.lastname@example.org before purchasing the upgrade.
How do I sponsor a teacher ticket?
There is no ‘host-a-teacher’ selection in our reservation system however, you can select ‘make a donation’ to help defray the cost of hosting a teacher and/or a staff member.
How do I donate an item for the auction?
We have created an easy web page for donors to contribute items to our auction.

Is there a gluten-free meal option?
The vegetarian sushi roll option is also completely gluten-free.
What should I wear?
The Luau theme calls for a very relaxed, island style. Aloha shirts, linen or light slacks, bright floral dresses. Think Tommy Bahama casual, Reyn Spooner sheek, Jams World meets Hilo Hattie and Don Ho. Dinner will be held on the Lancer Lawn, so a caution to spiky heels.
What do I need to do when I arrive?
The event starts at 5:30pm. Every guest must visit the check-in desk to confirm their arrival, get your table assignment and get your bidder number. Please be sure your phone is charged, as bidding will take place on your phone.
When I arrive at the Linda Vista campus, where do I park?
VIP and All-Access (Sponsors & Honorary Committee) Ticket holders will be emailed a parking pass to access the valet parking next to the flagpole. Cars must be picked up by 11:30 p.m. at the valet. If you are not leaving before 11:30, we ask that you pick up your keys by 11:00 p.m. at the valet. Display the parking pass on the dashboard of their vehicles or their rideshare. General Admission ticket holders may park in the San Diego County Office of Education parking lot west of Francis Parker School. Please look for signs marking this entrance. Note that the pedestrian gate in the parking lot will NOT be open.
Rideshares (Uber/Lyft) may drop-off & pick-up on Linda Vista Road between faculty parking gate and the main gate. Please be sure to exit and enter cars curbside only. Please direct drivers to stop as close to the curb as possible.
Are drinks free?
All guests receive a welcome cocktail upon arrival at check-in.
General Admission Ticket Holders: Free wine with dinner.
Big Kahuna VIP: Receive two free drink tickets, free premium wine with dinner and free drinks in the GTS Kamehameha Tiki Lounge.
Sponsors and Honorary Committee: All drinks free all night.
How do I buy drinks?
Drink tickets are available to purchase at check-in and from volunteers near the bars. All purchased tickets will be charged to bidder numbers. BARS WILL NOT ACCEPT PAYMENT OTHER THAN DRINK TICKETS.
What should I bring?
A charged phone and a PLAN for how you want to support Parker by raising your paddle at a level of which you are proud.

How can I view auction items in advance?
Register for mobile bidding, sponsored by Bridgepoint, and bid early from the comfort of your sofa. Only the “Premium Silent Auction” items will be on display at the event this year. The majority of the items will be online, and some can even purchased BEFORE the event. The silent auction will open a week before the event.
Links will be provided once the mobile bidding is open. All ticket holders will receive links for mobile bidding via text and/or email when mobile bidding opens for business, approximately 2 weeks prior to the Gala event.
I cannot attend, and would like somebody to bid on my behalf (proxy bidding)?
